The Black Business Hall of Fame honors Minnesota's most impactful Black business leaders — the entrepreneurs, innovators, and community builders who have shaped the state's economic landscape and paved the way for the next generation.
Inductees are recognized because they didn't just build businesses. They built pathways. They opened doors. They proved what was possible — and made it easier for every Black entrepreneur who came after them to believe the same.

Nominate a Business Leader
The Black Business Hall of Fame accepts nominations annually. If you know a Black business leader in Minnesota whose impact deserves permanent recognition, we want to hear from you.
Nominations are reviewed by a committee of Chamber board members and past inductees. Inductees are announced at the Chamber's Annual Gala.
Nomination criteria include: demonstrated business achievement, community impact, mentorship and leadership, and lasting contribution to Black entrepreneurship in Minnesota.
